at least we drive cars and not ride cows…
and gas is kind of high, we rather stick to our imports rather than our domestics….

It looks like the guy needs a driving lesson or two, but I don’t see the big deal about driving a Ferrari in the snow. I am an avid skier and I see Porsches at the ski hill all the time. Plus I daily drive a 2002 Corvette Z06, which I take skiing quite often myself…all without issue. 3 years of skiing 30+ times per year, I have only gotten the car stuck once, and my friend ended up getting his truck stuck the same day in the same parking lot.

I have a feeling this is the same type of guy tryin to push the seasons around by wearing shorts well after the warm weather’s gone…

Does anybody even make chains for a tire size like that,i doubt it.

Ferrari isn’t built for winter use. The plastic panels will crack when frozen.

I guess it must be the least expensive one in his collection. Can’t blame him. But a taxi would cost less, after damage repair of the Ferrari.

This actually happened right outside my workplace, i have some pics on my phone of it. He started to burn the clutch, you could smell it. It was in markham, just north of Toronto. Guy def’n doesnt care about this car thou, he was driving in snow before also, and he had to know it was snowing before he left his house, since it was snowing from the night before.

For some rich people, driving that car in the snow is no different then when you drive your mustang!

Maybe that’s the only car the rental place had left.

fuck that car i would have rather drivin that the other winter when i could only drive my nova cuz it was the only wheels i had at the time so who cares

Damn!!! That’s God punishing this poor bastard for being soooooo stupid. Obviously money can’t buy you a brain. If you can afford the car you can afford an SUV or something for the winter. I live in Toronto and refuse to drive without snow tires…shame on you fool!

hey, what’s the big deal?
It’s just a car, and not a very good one at that…

The car is light as hell and has too much power for this kind of weather, doesn’t matter how experienced of a driver is behind the wheel, and winter tires won’t make a difference. Props to the driver for giving it a try anyways though. Probably was a lot of fun for the first little bit… but considering the price of the car, I wouldn’t try it either way. People are too stupid when winter arrives. It’s like half of Ontario forgets what snow is over the summer.

I couldn’t drive one of those in the snow. It’s not that I wouldn’t, or that I think it’s wrong, but everytime I go around a turn and slide, I’d scream “son of a bitch!”
-
That car driven in winter weather would need brown leather, just in case the driver shat themselves.

That’s not even snow, that’s a dusting. I’ll drive a Ferrari in snow I don’t give a fuck, it’s really not that complicated to drive in, I don’t know why people freak out over it.

Man That sucks. The salt on the road just eats cars up. I wouldn’t dare take out a Ferrari out into the snow

There is no way in hell I would even think about taking a Ferrari out in the snow..

The problem with Toronto is Downtown there was no snow just a lot of rain, 2 miles north there were a few inches. Dumb person didn’t check his destination’s weather forecast….

Dec 11, 2009 at 5:20 pm

Oh come on. the snow was NOT that bad. I live just outside toronto and i didn’t see a major problem with the snow. of course I watched some twit in a corolla slide all over the road doing 20 kph in a 60 kph zone. no winter tires or they might have been bald. i love this guy’s idea of a winter beater. goes along with seeing a c5 corvette, jaguar xkr, aston martin db9, and a nissan gtr as winter cars. so why not a ferrari?
