Rough Sunday With The Porsche

By Ryan Porter

Saturday I installed some HID headlights on the car to improve nighttime visibility.  And while all seemed well after the installation, while I was on my way to dinner last night the driver’s side went out. I pulled over and immediately popped the headlamp out, because I was hoping a connection had just popped out. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, and  I went on the rest of the night with just one light. When I got home I popped the bonnet to give it another look but decided to go to bed since I was tired and it was real cold in the garage. So that was Saturday night, hit the  jump to see how my Sunday turned out.

So guess what, when I came out in the morning I learned that leaving the bonnet cracked leaves the interior lights on.  With that said I had a dead battery to deal with before I could trouble shoot the headlight. To make a long story short… check your fuses before you do anything else! #autofailbyme

I feel your pain, Im not mechanically inclined and working on my marauder in Europe has been a pain. No shop here in Germany will work on it so my friends has to help me….due to bulbs not working the first time and things like that took us seven hours to install the HIDs
