Deputy Editor
Audi’s e-tron was a smash hit at the LA Auto Show, and nobody had even seen it on the road. But Los Angeles Times automotive critic Dan Neil got to take one for a test drive and feel its 3319lbs of torque. Think we’ll really see these on the road in two years? With only a 100 being released worldwide, the chances of spotting one in the wild is remote, but it’d still be cool…

I’m still intrigued of the thought of how an electric car can go out terrorizing a twisting and turning mountain road, yet the only thing there is to listen for are the tires squealing in distress.
