Hemmings
Did the 1948 Diamond T we show you last week not tickle your fancy the way it did ours? Then how about this 1933 Diamond T currently on Hemmings.com that the seller left partially finished so you can apply your imagination to it? Though I would’ve liked to see him go through with his vision for it. Offered for $10,500 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Continue reading at Hemmings

F1 Scandal Hits Home
Atomicalex
F1 scandals have been free-flowing this year, and my employer has gotten snared in the latest one. This time, Brawn GP have charged that a mid-level Henkel employee entered into a promise of sponsorship prior to the sale of Brawn GP to Daimler. I’m working off an internal release here, but even the limited details are pretty gnarly. The value of the claimed sponsorship package exceeded what Henkel has put into all of F1 in better years. Even wilder, the person named as the intermediary between Brawn and Henkel is the proud owner of a fraud conviction, and Brawn GP appear to have ignored all of this. Both Daimler and Henkel appear to have been unaware of the situation with Brawn until this past October, when a check was demanded. The case is now in the hands of the German courts, which no doubt will be friendly to both Henkel and to Daimler. Will we see Nick Fry handed his team back and told to return Daimler’s investment? Strange days, indeed, but certainly not by F1 standards!

Car Feature: TA Auto Nissan 240ZG
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
I had one of the best experiences of my life the other week. It all happened on a very cold, very wet Monday morning at the recently opened S odegaura Forest Raceway , a short 45 min drive from Tokyo. The idea was to meet up with revered Fairlady Z restorer Ando-san of TA-Auto to shoot a couple of his latest creations, one of which was this beautiful maroon HS30 240ZG. The 240ZG was built in 1971 to homologate the S30 for Group 4 racing and was only sold in Japan. Continue reading at Speedhunters.

Carnage Video: Four Minutes of Jumping Muscle Cars
By Brian Lohnes
BangShift.com
Many BangShifters are totally against wrecking perfectly good old cars in the name of movie action, but we figure that as long as the cars were already wrecked 20-plus years ago, we might as well get some thrills out of it now. This video is packed with nothing but muscle cars (and one Fast and Furious car) jumping rivers, trucks, and other cars in movies and TV shows like Dukes of Hazzard, Smokey and the Bandit, Starsky and Hutch, and more. We recommend you turn off the audio and supply your own soundtrack. We mean, unless you’re a Starship fan.
