By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
We just uploaded a bunch of pics from the January 2 Cars and Coffee in Irvine, California. I don’t know what I like more, this Coronet, or this Alfa. See the rest of the pics at cncpics.com!

General Motors is pulling a fast one when it comes to divesting themselves of any
stray Saturn
or Pontiac cars left at dealerships. If dealers take
Pontiacs or Saturns and put them into service or rental fleets, whatever that means,
they’ll pay them $7,000 for each car. Dealerships can then have to sell them as used.
Why not take $6000 off the price tag? It seems to me that GM needed billions in a short
term loan from Uncle Sam a while ago, so maybe the payoff to dealers doesn’t make the
most sense.

It’s amusing to consider how HUGE the turning circle of that Rambler wagon must be with those steamroller tires. They have limited steering-angle capability even with their OEM skinnies. That car (it looks v. cool, btw) probably has trouble negotiating the average freeway cloverleaf’s radius. ☺
