Amidst the myriad of new (but already old) vehicles on the floor of Cobo Hall, were more than a few surprises. Two of the nicest include these vintage British Sports cars, the iconic Lotus Elan, and a very British Morgan Plus 4.

The Lotus Elan was produced between 1962 to 1975 and was a best seller for the quirky British firm. It was light and powerful, and it the Lotus that any future Lotus is ultimately compared to.

The Morgan Plus 4 is one of the most iconic motorcars ever produced from the British Empire. They are still being produced to this day, with pretty much the same level of craftsmanship. Stay tuned for a newer Morgan.
