Pancaked!
By Jen Dunnaway

I know that big rigs are the lifeblood of industry, and they have as much right to use our highways as anyone else, blah blah blah, but when I see stuff like this it makes me think we should go back to shipping everything by train. This car in Brazil was completely squashed when a truck lost control on the highway and rolled over on it. I’m assuming there were no survivors–the thing looks like it’s been through the crusher! Remember to give those rigs a wide berth, guys. Via WreckedExotics.

I do the same. I get around a rig as quickly as possible. My brother is a trucker, and the horror stories he tells keep me up at night, especially the ones about logging trucks. Yikes!!

One thing that really boils my rice on the highways is when left-lane lingerers… those utterly brainless leftward speed-matchers decide to do their thing which puts me next to a rig.

I pass rigs with authority. Often I think the truckers realize I’m there when I’m about 50 feet past already. Never trust rig drivers. Their payloads can eliminate the chance needed for a miracle to happen.
