New: Filter By Trim Level!
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
We’re working to make it easier to find what you’re looking for on CarDomain. Do you like Mustangs but mostly just want to see 5.0 Fox bodies? Now you can filter by trim level to just see LX 5.0 Liter Hatchbacks or Sedans. Since this is brand new, it’s going to take a while for members to go in and indicate the trim levels of their rides, but going forward we think this will make for a much better browsing experience. So please be sure to update the model and trim info for all the rides in your garage. You will find this under the Vehicle Info tab when you are editing your ride.
Oh, and if you haven’t seen your member lobby lately, check it out!

Could you please add a model to the Cadillac section for Hearse/Ambulance or something similar. Thanks.

BTW – Everything you guys are telling us is changes we are making to our lists. We actually got these new lists from Kelly Blue Book so anything you don’t see on our site is not recognized by KBB either.

Looks like kenstyle is a bodykit, not a trim! I’ve added the extereme along with some other S10 variations. I’ve also added EXP for the escort, and the S/R trim.

Trim options for my Eldorado were very reduntant (and one just plain wrong). “Coupe” is unnecessary in all of them as the Eldorado is always a coupe (and the C in ESC and ETC stands for coupe). ETC and Touring Coupe are the same thing. ESC and Sport Coupe are the same thing (though they weren’t called ESC until the last few years, so I guess it’s accurate to include the two despite most people not having a clue). There is no such thing as an Eldorado ECS to my knowledge.
This is all nitpicky of course, but everyone else was providing feedback here, so I joined-in.

So how do we suggest a trim you guys don’t have listed? Like the S/R trim on my Ford ZX2.

well the 88-98 full size chevy and GMC truck body style (gmt400 platform) and at least the body style before that used C/K with the #s that said what “ton” it is, ya C/K is up there but there is no trim listed with it and the trim are listed seperate as actual models, which like my 98 is actually a K1500 and the trim is Silverado, Cheyenne and Silverado were the trim levels. the body style before had those trims with scottsdale and custom deluxe. then in 99 is when they dropped those trim levels and kept Silverado to just add the trim level letters they do now. so that has to be fixed. so technically my 98 is a C/K with the trim Silverado. by the way the “C” is 2wd and “K” is 4×4 just as added info lol so if it says c1500 thats the 2wd 1/2 ton, and the body style before mine used 10, 20 and 30 instead of 1500, 2500 and 3500 so might want to add the 10, 20 and 30 to

Also, There is no listing for an EXP as its own model or under a sub model of the Escort. I would love to see it be it’s own model, since it was from 82-85 and it was a sub model of the Escort from 86-88.5.
