Tough Camaro Cop Car

There’ve been 2010 Camaro police car concepts and renderings circulating around pretty much as long as there’s been 2010 Camaros, but this is apparently the first sighting of a marked and legitimate one in the wild. Rather than just slap on the usual lightbars and decals, the Haltom City Police Department in Texas treated themselves to a custom build by Classic Chevrolet for their new Camaro SS patrol car, with subtly-integrated LED lighting throughout, including the stealth row of blues behind the grille. Seems a little decadent, but I guess there’s worse ways to dispose of taxpayers’ dollars! See more at Jalopnik.

I’m not going to say that cops are good or bad. Anyone who is now going to run from the cops will either need a supercharger installed on their SS or get a Corvette. Unless the police added some performance enhancers?

ya the cop haters are also hypocrites because they say they hate them then they call them when they need help with someone. i’ve always respected cops even when i’ve got pulled over and given a ticket i never hated them because they’re just doing they’re job, not their fault i was speeding or coming out of the Sonic sideways fishtailing (whoops lol). but i guess cops are like lawyers to some people, they hate them until they need one of them for help. and if you disagree with me then that just simply means your a hypocrite hater lol. lastly i know people have opinions but i also think that some opinions are wrong haha

Most cops are not jerks, just a few that give the rest a bad name.

it looks bad ass, i usually would say i wish they would have got aftermarket rims but the 2010 Camaro stock rims actually look good but could help if they were chrome or even better powdercoated black

now that they’ll have marked cop cars, i wonder if any department has any unmarked Camaros, that would piss you off at first because you’d think it was another nice Camaro your looking at then lights come on haha
