Sick Chevelle Burnout
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
When it comes to performing burnouts, there is simply no better tire roasting machine than a Chevelle. A well proportioned light weight chassis coupled with 732 all-motor horsepower can only lead to a beautiful display of rubber homicide. Read more about classic Chevelle burnouts at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

Behind the Scenes at Bullrun!
By John Coyle
Deputy Editor
We’re only a few episodes into this season of the Bullrun, but some of the teams have started pulling some dirty tricks. That’s all well and good of course, this is Bullrun, not a Girl Scout meeting. But I have to say that I feel a little bad for some of the contestants. Not because their fellow competitors are screwing with them, but because it seems like some of the challenges have the potential to seriously screw up their rides. One example? In the latest challenge, the drivers had to ram their way through a locked gate. Now, that seems totally fine for team Hummer, but the Viper and Hemi Cuda teams might not have such an easy time of it. Check out this clip to see some behind the scenes footage.
New: Filter By Trim Level!
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
We’re working to make it easier to find what you’re looking for on CarDomain. Do you like Mustangs but mostly just want to see 5.0 Fox bodies? Now you can filter by trim level to just see LX 5.0 Liter Hatchbacks or Sedans. Since this is brand new, it’s going to take a while for members to go in and indicate the trim levels of their rides, but going forward we think this will make for a much better browsing experience. So please be sure to update the model and trim info for all the rides in your garage. You will find this under the Vehicle Info tab when you are editing your ride.
Oh, and if you haven’t seen your member lobby lately, check it out!

NASCAR Carnage: Time To Put The Gloves Back On?
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
This much is true: putting a rival in the fence is a time-honored tradition in stock-car racing, and a recognized if not officially sanctioned way of doing business on the track. Still, when veteran Sprint Cup driver Carl Edwards sent newcomer Brad Keselowski hurtling airborne into the wall at nearly 200 mph yesterday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, I kind of had to wonder if things had gotten out of hand. Sure, NASCAR’s been encouraging drivers to show their passions and race hard, in its effort to counteract the tedium of today’s sanitized, sponsor-dominated version of the sport that has become so far removed from stock-car racing’s hellraising roots. But some things don’t change: when you tell a bunch of rowdy NASCAR drivers that it’s time to take the gloves off, the outcome is going to be pretty predictable: beatin’ and brawlin’. See the wreck and read more below the jump!

Video From DUB Anaheim!
By John Coyle
Deputy Editor
The DUB tour kicked off this weekend in Anaheim, and we sent Larry Chen—our number one photographer—to shoot pics and video. Given how crappy the economy is, I was really curious about the level of cars that would be there. But from the looks of this video, the DUB demographic hasn’t been effected by the downturn at all.
Larry also shot over 300 pics for our Events section. Check them out!
What Did You Do This Weekend?
By Jen Dunnaway

I decided to stop being angry at and threatening to sell my diesel Escort, and instead did a little re-plumbing and re-wiring. But even after replacing all the fuel hoses with braided PVC and running wires properly for my in-line helper pump, it still gets air in the fuel and quits after 5 miles or so of driving. I’m going to try another couple of fixes before getting fed up again and throwing it back on craigslist for an astronomically unrealistic asking price.
How about you? What did you do this weekend?

Shopping for My First College Beater
By Alex Vickers
Katakuna
I’ve just been accepted to college, and like a lot of students, I need something cheap to beat around in. But see, I can’t completely throw away the notion of buying a decent car, can I? Especially since my father is willing to contribute $1,500 to my new-car fund, it takes a lot of the pressure off and opens up a world of possibilities. I’ve started out with a list of possible used cars (since insurance on a new Camaro for an 18-year-old driver pretty much rules that out). Continue below the jump to help me decide what to get!
