Spotted in Fremont: VW Painter’s Van
By Jen Dunnaway

Art car, taxi cab, ladder truck? Hard to tell what this rig’s primary purpose is, but it’s clear somebody uses it for something, even if it’s just scaring neighborhood kids or trying to reassure customers that no, the guy who showed up to paint your house is not in fact an axe murderer (good luck with that). Nice touches throughout, including plastic flowers, a rubber rat tunneling into the spray-foam insulation that’s been shot into the rusty rocker panels, and a grotesque pirate mannequin riding shotgun. Sometimes, all you can do is scratch your head and enjoy the view. More pics below the jump!

Japanse Model Soils Herself While Riding with Tanaka
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
A Japanese model from the pits gets a chance to ride with drift legend Tanaka and ends up screaming for high heavens. Sliding sideways staring death straight in the face, she actually soils herself and admits it on camera. Gross! Read more about the pit girl drifting session at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

The Ongoing Saga of BUTRNUT
By Jen Dunnaway

If you ever decided to build a really burly Chevette and do it the right way, Steve’s page would be a great place to start. Just for starters: a Borg-Warner T5, a Jeep Scrambler gas tank, a GM 60-degree 2.8L V6, a Fiero coil-over front end setup, and a Chevy S10 3:73 posi rear and and parallel leaf spring suspension. How do you fit all this into a Chevette? BUTRNUT is very much a work in progress, and the page is an epic read, but it’s well worth checking out.

House Porsche: Pure Hilarity!
By John Coyle

I saw this video while I was in the StreetFire approval queue this morning. I’ve probably watched it a dozen times since then, and I’ll probably watch it a few more times. That said, there’s nothing remotely redeeming about it. It’s loaded with expletives, dick jokes and people getting punched in the face, so if you don’t like those things, don’t bother watching it. Of course, if your sense of humor matches that of a drunken ten-year-old—like mine—you’ll absolutely love it.

Bullrun Season 3, Episode 3: Rail Yard
By Mike Musto
RideLust.com
Episode 3 started off casually enough with the teams still at Eagle Air Base. Last week if you remember Team Corvette got the boot because of a bit too much show boating in the challenge. What you need to do now is think back to that challenge because it taught us two very important things. First is that David from Team Hummer is not afraid to wheel that thing around and two, the challenges are becoming more complex. This means that teams are really going to have to step it up if they want to succeed.
This TV show is not about going home with your car intact. It’s about running balls-out, taking chances and winning some loot. If you can do this then great, if not, well then, just stay the f*ck home because you have no business being here.

Yep, it’s March, and it’s never too early to start thinking about your last day. And do these kids have an awesome high school or what? Wish there’d been rides like this in my student parking lot…
