Boaterhome For Sale on Hemmings

Hey, what’s more American than a Boaterhome? Just 21 were made back in ’86 by Sport King. The Econoline-based rig functioned as an RV on land, but when you got to the lake–plop! You can unload your boat in under two minutes without having to get out of your vehicle! Oh wait, I think you have to get out of your vehicle to get into the boat. Darn it. See the ad on Hemmings!

The Boaterhome pictured above is not the one for sale on Hemmings. It is located in Colorado and belongs to me. It is for sale for $19,500.

If the front weren’t a van, something more streamlined to go with the other 2/3rd of the vehicle, it could have a pretty incredible appearance.
-
Instead, this is the epitome of “Land yacht”. I guess it could be awesome on the inside…

Too much time and money, not enough sense. lol leave the amphicars to themselves lol. and I thought I had a yacht on wheels : ) I will say this, it was an interesting idea

yeah roll up in style. The style from the 80s. What an ugly interior. Wonder how this thing has such low mileage though. Original owner must have lived rather close to their favorite spot.
