I like it. Looks way better than the fugly rusted hood fad, and it’s a different approach than the tired, boring cliche carbon fiber. but maybe it wood (pun intended) look better if it were a whitewash or black finish.
The whole car looks good, especially the old Corvette wheels!

did good on the rims and suspension… now lose those 65 stickers on your rear window (unless those companies are paying you) !!
And the chinese headlights gotta go. It kills the integrity of the car.

Hey elgallazo, why don’t you take lessons on how to type in English and not in Ebonics before you post a comment on here. Also, why is this lame and stupid?, what kind of car do you drive?, wait don’t tell me, you drive a 1987 Yugo GV, that’s why you hate it so much. I hate people like you that have to totally disrespect other people’s property and be very rude about it in the process. You might think it’s stupid looking, they might think it looks cool. Keep your hateful, rude, and disrespectful comments to yourself next time asshole.

…its just a vinyl wrap it wont mess anything up. as far as color, i think this would look AMAZING on a deep forest green. but there are definitely some colors it wont work with.

Being from Arizona I have to give a fellow Arizonan some love. This is the most sick, bad ass, tight, and slick looking Accord I have ever seen!. The wood grain hood is off the charts!!!. Gotta love the fact that they did something other than the traditional carbon fiber hood. BRAVO!!!!!

jen if what you’re talking about is plaid i havent seen someone do a whole hood but i have seen sideview mirrors and all interior pillars done on i think it was either a passat or an A6. it looked badass. to each his own. this accord looks sweet except for the million stickers on the rear window. and if the whole car was wrapped it would look extremely stupid.

So, for my diesel Escort, I’m gonna get one of those red-and-white vinyl gingham tablecloths and wrap the hood with it. That way, any park I take it to I’ll have my picnic table already there! The picnic table hood will be the new wood hood, booyah! Don’t anybody steal my idea now.

Kudos for being different but I don’t know about this idea, wood look should only be on woody’s and left back in 50s and 60s

May 11, 2010 at 7:51 am
THis is way cooler than the Rust, But in order for this to be completely cool the whole car needs the wood grain Vinyl wrap. That would be one large woody

Very cool.

It would look way cooler if they did the entire car in wood.

if you guys have never been to hellaflush.com check it out, all they do is post cars on there with sick offsets and wheel combos. im not really a huge fan of tuners but some of the stuff they have on there is legit.. as far as the wood goes. i’m a fan. i think it looks pretty clean.

well overall the car doesn’t look half bad. the hood does look very unusual im guessing its just a laminate over the OEM hood. I cant really say anything bad about it but that background looks way to nice to be natural

Well? It looks like it turned out all right from the pics. I guess it’s better than a rusty hood. Well OK. Hell, it don’t look half bad!

i’m not into imports at all but this at least isn’t over done or riced out. the Vette rims actually look like they could be Honda stock rims on there even though they’re not. the rack on the roof of course looks out of place but can’t disagree with it since i’m sure it’s on there to be used, at least they’re not worried about how it looks or anything.
-
now about the hood….. so the hood fad goes to Carbon Fiber (which i never cared for the look that much but at least they had a purpose of being lighter), then goes to the Rust look which made no sense to me unless they’re trying to be like those Rat Rods but why not do the whole car like rust and not just the hood? then now it’s woodgrain, that makes even less sense to me. but to each is his own i guess so whatever they want to do. the hood is the only thing i don’t agree with, everything else is fine

Awesome woodgrain hood! Finally, a simple bodywork project you can do with a few bucks worth of adhesive woodgrain-print linoleum flooring from Home Depot!

I agree with everything but the hood, but that’s what made it blog worthy so good for them. I think the vette wheels look right at home and the red tint on the outside piece of the tails looks great and I haven’t scene it done before.
