Lamborghini Murcielago Shot 10 Times
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
If only bullet holes could talk! It’s totally unknown how this Lambo got the violent Swiss cheese treatment, but it’s pretty obvious whoever was shooting was trying to kill the driver. Tip! If you are a bad guy doing bad things, don’t drive an ape’s ass orange colored Lambo; they stick out of a crowd. Read more about the shot up Lamborghini at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

19 Questions for Bullrun Founder and Creator, Andrew Duncan
By Mike Musto
RideLust.com
Back in 2006 I had the opportunity to be part of a new reality show called Bullrun, which was based on the cross-country rally of the same name. The reality show pitted 12 teams in a 4,000-mile adventure where they competed in multiple automotive challenges while driving their own automobiles. The show just recently finished up its third season on Speed TV and over the last four years has gained quite a fan base and following. Where the actual rally is a true high-end luxury vacation, the TV show is nothing but down and dirty competition that pushes contestants and automobiles to their limits.
I recently had a chance to throw some questions at Bullrun founder and creator Andrew Duncan to pick his brain about not only the Bullrun Rally but the television show as well. You can read the full interview over at Ridelust.com
Pike’s Peak Datsun 240Z
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
Sitting not too far from the Lister Roadster at Fan Fest in downtown Colorado Springs was this exquisite example of a Datsun 240z. This was another car that I was unable to see in the three morning practice session because it was running in the vintage race car class. What sits in this immaculate example of a 240z, is no monstrous V8, but a carbureted inline-six L series motor. Continue reading at Speedhunters

Insane 1967 Ford Bronco Rod on Auto Trader
By Brian Lohnes
BangShift.com
First generation Ford Broncos are neat trucks. We’ve seen them in all forms from sloggin’ mud boggers, to wheel-pulling drag cars. Hell, Doug Nash ran a flip-up Bronco-bodied funny car in the late 1960s. This is the first one we have seen done in a modern style, slammed to the ground, packing a huffed big block Chevy motor, and a big dollar looking custom interior. Part of us digs it, and part of us doesn’t.
This Bronco was featured in Truckin’ Magazine wearing a different wheel and tire package that gave it a much more Pro Street look. In its current form with the massive rear wheels and short sidewall tires it seems to be angling for the Pro/Faux Touring vibe.
The chassis is an Art Morrison piece, the front suspension is a Mustang II set-up, and the rear is a Ford 9-inch hung with a four-link setup and a pair of Aledine coil over shocks. The paint is 100% awesome looking miles deep and flawless.
That big motor coming through the hood? It’s a 502ci big block Chevy sporting a set of worked Brodix heads, a cam from Comp, and a whole bunch of supercharger on top. The owner claims that the engine makes close to 1,000 hp. The transmission is a built to the hilt Turbo 400.
Crazily the truck has only been driven 250 miles according to the ad. Maybe it scared the guy bad enough that he only idles it around now, who knows. With that little wheelbase, a lightweight package, and the (reportedly) 1,000hp engine, this freaking thing must be devilish on the road.
The interior is certainly out to make a statement. It appears that the steering wheel is wrapped in Alligator, with the rest of the cab is done in leather. From the looks of the driver’s seat, the blower case is just inches from the windshield!
Bad ass or bad taste? What’s your take?

Fireball Wrangles the Best of Barrett Jackson OC
By Fireball Tim
Movie Car Design Master
Serious machines in a serious situation? Well, it’s a buyer’s market is all I have to say. Cars were going out the door at astonishing prices. A 1969 Mustang Mach 1 Fastback, cherry @ $29K. That’s a heartbreaker to the seller, but a golden op for the buyer. I’m glad I left my wallet in the car… I did buy a Johnny Lightning. Cool.
What stood out? The best of Barrett Jackson in the OC below…. but click HERE for over 50 shots of best cars on the FT Blog.

Dale Jr. To Race The No. 3 Car At Daytona
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
For this Friday night’s Nationwide race at Daytona, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will fire up a Wrangler-branded No. 3 Chevrolet–the same number and livery as the car his late father raced here so many times. By all accounts, it’s only going to be a one-time thing, set to coincide with the Natiowide New Car’s debut for this weekend’s race–as Junior very memorably quipped to ESPN earlier this week, “You just don’t grab the car keys off the counter and go run out the door and haul down the road with your dad’s car. I didn’t do it when he was alive, and I won’t do it now.” That’s our Junebug. The all-new race car got a chance for some much-needed practice today at Daytona, and I’m on my way there tomorrow to party with Dodge. Check more pics of the race-ready Nationwide rides below the jump!

Corvette Farm Tractor
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
“Nothing runs like a Deere,” except a Corvette farm tractor! Used for moving 1,500 pound bails of hay, this farmhand’s ‘Vette is stepping out of typical Corvette territory. Good bye pavement, hello hay field. If “Old MacDonald” drove a car, I think it would be this Corvette. After watching this car pull a bail of hay, check out Tampa Sports Car Examiner for the hay field donut video!
