Tampa Sports Car Examiner

And to clear up my comment, when i said “to be fair” it’s meant to be fair to the Trans-Am, not as in to be a fair comparison. IF you want to put a 10 year old GM against the brand new Ford Mustang then put the same 10 year old GM against a Mustang that 10 years older than the GM is (a 91 Fox body Mustang give or take a year or 2).

While I love the T/A, this is NOT a good comparison. Technology changes a lot in only a few years.

Ya that’s fair, put a brand new Mustang 5.0 with the newest technology in it against a 10 year old GM car (sarcasm). To be fair, take that same ’01 Trans-Am and put it against a stock ’91 Mustang 5.0 Fox Body with maybe a couple light mods.

Not bad considering the Trans Am has I’m guessing ~70 hp less.
