LedZeppelin, not sure why he wasn’t tazed. I see that they pepper sprayed him several times, but obviously that wasn’t working, so a tazer would be the next step. I also agree that you don’t need that many cops at one incident. Sure, they want to get in and see what’s going on, but me…I’d leave as soon as things were under control. It gets to be chaos with so many cops there. Ridiculous. They also showed very poor officer safety and put themselves at risk. I wasn’t there and don’t know the full details, so I hesitate to pick apart what happened exactly. As should everyone else.

It isnt the wild west anymore…You gotta toe the line somewhere…but that jackass was rippin down the sidewalk at 40 mph. ON THE FRICKIN SIDEWALK!…yeah thats funny from a helicopters point of view…but just wait till the day you step out to grab a paper…or a 40 oz bottle of shame…and some drug addled joker pastes your guts all over your front steps. Then you’ll wonder why there isnt a law, or some cops around that makes that illegal.
You wanna go fast? you wanna see whos top dog with speed? There are sanctioned events at real race tracks. Speed should be the thrill, not putting innocent lives at risk. cuz ther nex innocent that you put at risk might have a shotgun…and you’ll be in his or her sights.

As for this joker in the vid…Dodg 360…I have one question…Why didnt they taz him and be done with it? I gotta admit, it looked like a circus…and this couldve gone a lot quicker…just shock him yank him and stuff him in the nearest cruiser that wasnt wrecked…

I like how this became a cop bashing session. I’m a Sheriff’s Deputy and would like to see those that say “Stupid little piggies” and the such go and do the job for ONE day. Especially in a big city. I became a cop because I thought cops were a holes, and you know what I found out? People suck and MOST cops are great people. I am very fair to people who are cooperative and what happens? I get screwed over for it. The cop bashers are usually the people that are criminals that had a bad experience. Do lawful activity and you won’t. Easy as that. Yes, there are bad cops that do illegal things, but the majority don’t. We have families, hobbies, and wow….feelings just like everyone else. I’m sure 0010charlie is a rockstar and an upstanding citizen. Good for you. Go online and bash cops. Did you get beat up by a cop and did he take your lunch money? BTW, I never got beat up and hold no grudges against anyone. I just think it’s BS to say that kind of thing when you have NO CLUE what the job entails. Keep on living that dream. XTZTwinTurbo – Are you on something? cops in a rural area will beat you down over a moving violation while a big city cop will let it fly? Try the other way around. I’m in a decent size town, not huge at all but not small dinky 1 stoplight town. 17,000 last i checked. And well I’ve be let go with a verbal warning over STREET RACING before and also let go with just a verbal warning for going 60 mph in a 25 when I was only 16. I’m not saying cops are perfect but trust me on this, it’s A LOT less corrupted cops or cops that abuse their power than there are people that break the laws thinking they’re above the law. And you’re an idiot if you actually want someone like that just driving how they want and the cops do nothing. The cops would only get sued if they did nothing, you really think someone will stop if they wasn’t chased? If someone is willing to run from the cops driving on the damn sidewalk putting people’s lives in danger including kids then ya they deserve to be in jail with big bubba. I bet if your kid was outside playing and someone hauled ass going twice the limit you’d want the cops on them. And it’s not illegal for the cops to chase someone like that you idiot, as long as they have the lights and sirens on while ona call or chase it’s not illegal but of course they still have the responsibility to do it safely as in making sure the intersection is clear to go and so on. It’s a reason there are cops, I still have a feeling you just fuck up and blame the cops for catching you. Be a man and admit your fuck ups instead of blaming the cop. If a cop catches someone with lets say weed, whose fault was it the person had weed? The damn cops fault? Hell I’ve heard of cops letting someone go that had a little bit of weed and not even write a ticket for it as long as the person cooperates. I’ve seen plenty of times where someone will take off to start a chase over a minor thing like their taillight out or something where the cop was just pulling them over to tell them. Look… they obviously are just as at fault than the guy running. You chase, he runs. The cops add to the danger by chasing the guy. They know where he is, because there’s a damn helicopter relaying the info!!! So I say the citizens should sue the police officers as well as the idiot they’re chasing for damages, injury, and fatalities. I would like to have an in dash camera and audio feed from each of those cop cars. I bet they were having a blast driving just as illegally as the felon. Why do they get to drive just as radically as him? I think it’s more than 1% corruption. They can get away with anything and they know it. What fellow cop is gonna rat on another? They are probably afraid of each other too. Cops in rural area will beat you down for a moving violation, while cops in the big city may let it fly. Some things are just higher priority in certain areas.

You blow threw intersections, hit cars, endanger lives, tear up everything along the way then when it comes to an end and the cops beat you down everyone sceams bad cop. clearly they were not even trying to stop him, the bad guy crashed himself on a civilian car (not the first he damaged), and after he stopped they finally nailed him (or couldn’t stop fast enough again..), i bet chasing a car through a city must be lots of fun! Also check at 00:37, one of their cruisers run into a tree, maybe they thought the tree would collapse stopping the bad guy?

Steve Little you are right we are all hypocrites, but not for breaking the stupid piddly laws but for following them. We live in an over populated world of consumers. Laws are in place to keep the sheeple in line and keep us consuming, people think they are good because they blindly follow laws and keep in line, meanwhile they continue to breed, pollute, pave and build.
We as a society look down on the homeless when in actuality they are living in a form of harmony with the world, they live off society’s trash, don’t buy new cars, build sky scrappers… All this to say that if you think your better then anyone else because you follow the stupid laws set forth by 6.7 billions morons, your not.
We all condemn those who commit crimes against society and they answer for it but who answers for society’s crimes.

0010charlie – Also cops have to deal with people’s shit all the time, shit that people don’t want to deal with so they call the cops. Anytime it’s some little problem “i’m gonna call the cops on your ass” even over something stupid and small. And, if you don’t and something big happens then you’ll still see the cops. Cops have to deal with the shit you don’t want to and if you deal with it then either some shit will happen to you or it will catch up to you and you end up jail. Don’t believe me then oh well not my problem. You don’t have to like them but if you don’t actually respect them then you’re a hypocrite. And, again I know there are some cops that think they’re above the law or abuse their power but that’s only a very small %, less than 1%, and they’re in the big cities where they deal with the worst shit the most and non stop.

0010charlie – actually I never had my lunch money taken and even though I’m no a cop, I’m going to go through the training to become one. And no need for me to come to Chicago because I know not all cops are perfect but they’re only a very small % that are like that. Most of those cops are in big cities where they deal with the worst shit, around here it’s not much to deal with so you can get away with a little more. Not sure about big shit since I never did drugs or dealt with drugs or even drank enough to even get a buzz. But traffic ticket wise you can get away with a little more especially if you have a lawyer.

If your gonna run from cops and endanger the public, potentially killing someone you or I love, then I say beat that fucker till he realizes the severity of his actions. I don’t care if it’s for a block or a mile, if the police tell you to stop and you don’t, your in the wrong. Running is only going to make a small fine, become a big sentence in prison. Don’t be stupid, pull over when told to do so. They’re not asking you to pull over, they’re telling you you have to, there is no choice. If you run, your automatically charged with resisting arrest, evading police, and possibly endangering others. So do yourself a favor, and stop when told to. Well if you notice most of the cops aren’t doing anything towards the end anyways, it’s all the cops involved in the chase so it’s not like it took 20 cops to get 1 person out. And about the one cop that ran into the tree, nobody is perfect even someone that’s trained in that stuff and well since it’s L.A. they get plenty of practice on chases. Plus it looks like he just misjudged because he was going to try blocking in case the car turned right so he just misjudged with the speed he was going. I can almost guarantee that at least 1/2 of everybody that laughs at when a cop makes a mistake in a chase couldn’t handle chasing someone and would do the same stuff in less time because of 1 main thing, tunnel vision. You naturally will get tunnel vision and you have to train yourself to be aware of everything and everybody around you and not just on the person you’re chasing.
