Today just felt like a two-CRX kind of day, and this pic from a night photo shoot of Jay’s buddy’s stunning first-gen was too good to pass up. See more at Jay’s ride page.

Hemmings Find of the Day: 1974 Jensen Interceptor
By Dan Strohl
Hemmings
It’s funny how the right paint scheme can shift your perception of a car you’re already familiar with. Take, for instance, this 1974 Jensen Interceptor, with its nifty two-tone paint that certainly helps the car look more like an American muscle car than most Interceptors. From the seller’s description:
1974 Jensen Interceptor 3, Orig.Cond. 46K miles. This is one of the most amazing cars driven in America. The best of three worlds…Handmade in West Bromwich, England…Designed by Italian body designer in the late 1960’s…Powered by the factory with an American Chrysler 440 muscle engine! These current car photos are an accurate portrait of her fine condition. The paint on this car is awesome! The leather interior is in incredible shape. The air conditioning blows cold and this is a reliable, exotic, mega collectible, that is so unique, it is a show stopper and a jaw dropper every time! No rust whatsoever, stored at a private home and garaged, shielded from the intense sun and nice and dry without moisture.
See more at Hemmings.

As groan-worthy motorsports-themed kitchen appliances go, the Racepresso is right up there with the NASCAR Crock Pot. Couldn’t you totally see Jean Girard from Talladega Nights with one of these in his motor coach kitchen? Via BornRich.

China’s Massive Idea
HotRodHoney
Everyone knows that China is the most densely populated country, and with their economy booming, this of course means they are also dealing with ever growing over-populated traffic conditions. How do they intend to deal with this? By replacing the regular mass transit buses with Jumbo Buses that go down the highway right over cars! Cleverly using the regular space between both lanes and bridges to alleviate congestion and even lower construction costs. They are scheduled to start constructing the first 186km of track at the end of the year. Can you imagine these here in the States? Somewhere like NYC? Personally, I think the concept is pretty neat, though I wonder about the safety of it, especially if something were to go wrong. What do you think? One more pic and demo video after the jump.

On eBay: Chevy Express Van, Russian Mobster Style

What does it take to get an Express Van to sell for $100K in Moscow? I’m not sure. But at that price, this KronKraft coach had better be bulletproof too. The interior is pretty cool though. Check out the auction on eBay!
Mall Parking Lot Find Number 2: Ultra-Clean CRX

The way out of the Sears lot did not disappoint, either. Pictures don’t do justice to this unmolested CRX HF. When’s the last time you saw a clean, stock CRX?
