Rally Fun: The CheeseWheel 450
RedMaro6
Earlier in the month, I spent a Saturday driving some of the most exciting and fastest 450 miles I’ve ever driven. Currently in its 6th year, the CheeseWheel 450 Rally always attracts a wide variety of hot cars and great people, all driving across the scenic cheese state of Wisconsin, from Mantiowok on Lake Michigan all the way north to Ashland on the banks of Lake Superior. Again, Something Terrible Has Happened to A Corvette
By Jen Dunnaway

Yes, we’ve seen some bizarre and delusional things done to Corvettes. And at first glance, I thought this ultra-patriotic C4 was another one to throw on that sad pile. But wait: take a closer look, and you’ll see that that’s not a Corvette. Unfortunately, there weren’t any other pics at ThatWillBuffOut, where the camera-phone image appeared. So what’s the car that the unfortunate ‘Vette’s tail is grafted onto?

Saudi Drifter Crashes Into Semi
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
Look at that tire fly at 0:10! Performing the dangerous Saudi drift driving technique on the interstate, this drifter took the corner a little too sharp and ended up clipping the trailer of the semi. The rest of the drifting world better watch out for SA because these guys have no fear. Read more about Saudi drifting at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

By Karan Singh
StreetFire.net
For those of you who missed the NASCAR Nationwide race this weekend, Kasey Kahne was forced into the wall and rode along the curve on 2 wheels before finally landing right side up and then sliding to the bottom of the track. Not exactly a sight you see too often so check it out!

I love this shot of Johnny B’s fabulously airbrushed Dodge Magnum in front of Boston’s Fenway Park. See more at his ride page.

Project Biting the Bullitt: a 1000HP Mustang Build
powerTV Media
Currently, this Mustang is equipped with a virtually stock 170ci inline six cylinder. We’re all about keeping things fresh here at powerTV, and one of those ways is by creating interesting project car builds. We are proud to announce our next project build (which is actually one of my personal cars) called “Biting the Bullitt.”
The name is two fold. It could be perceived as Biting on the original Mustang Bullitt, driven by Steve McQueen, that was actually a Highland Green 1968 Fastback–with the only resemblance to our Mustang being the faded dark green paint. The real premise behind the Mustang build to show the fine line that we walk between a simple build, reliability, and all-out horsepower.

What Did You Do This Weekend?
By Jen Dunnaway

I’m in full-on bodywork mode on the diesel–having gotten it back from the frame straightener, I’m rarin’ to iron out all of its many lumps and get a couple coats of paint on it. Though I didn’t get as far as I wanted to on it this weekend–I frankly got a little bogged down in the acquisition of supplies, cleaning, and prep–I did manage to get the rear cargo area stripped out, de-rusted, and re-painted, and I got the jump on the bit of surface rust that was starting around the shock towers. Take that, cancer.
How about you? What did you do this weekend?
