Full Size Van Beats Corvette ZR1

Thanks to all-wheel drive coupled to a 5.3 liter turbocharged V8 and some good driving, a Chevrolet Express van smoked a Corvette ZR1 on the quarter mile. I find it interesting that a 7,000 pound van modified with just a turbo and Z06 cam could actually beat the mighty ZR1. Something went wrong on the launch, maybe? There was a dead guy driving the corvette lol. Nice reaction time!

Its for sure the bad launch by the corvette. If you look at the time slips they both ran low 13s but the van ran just under 100 and the vette ran 120 so the van had a good solid run, but with a good launch the vette could probably be around a second faster.

That was obviously a bad launch. none the less the Van won. props.
