Gone Postal

Check out this pro-street mail delivery truck on eBay. It's got a rebuilt 502 with nitrous, custom-built headers, an Edelbrock carb, and host of other goodies. The paint is at least as impressive as the internals—custom airbrushing combines flames with the USPS stripes and the Eagle, here shown clawing its way out of the back door. Bidding's up to 20 grand with four days to go!

Neither Rain nor Sleet nor Snow nor Speed Traps will stop them from their appointed duty.

The nice part about these is that underneath the Grummand body its just an S-10. So you can basically do anything that you would to do a regular S-10.... like put a 502 in it haha.

A friend of mine had an old mail jeep like that - it had a plaque inside that said not to take it over 55 - I think it was a roll-over risk thing.

That's sweet. Imagine how much faster the mail would get delivered in that bad boy..
