SEMA Solstice to Appear in The Fast and the Furious 4

By Jen

Editor

CarDomain member Freesol has gotten his Solstice GXP into the new Fast and the Furious movie! He attended the casting event a couple of weekends ago, and has been told his car will be used in the opening scenes that set the tone for the film. This 2008 Solstice has had a lot of adventures in its short life—it was also featured at the 2007 SEMA show!

Anyone else getting their car featured in the film? Post a link to your ride page!

Just so you know “white pride”, they did not take an American car and make it look like Asian crap..They took American crap and made it an even worse, stereotypical ricer boys dream…learn your shit, cuz that’s not Asian…and there is nothing good about a Solstice or a Sky, but, like some different shitty cars out there, they can be made to look half way decent…this one, however, did not come close.

Hey guys,

Just dropping in to say that I did not make those comments as some imposter has done. Hope you all knew better of me.

As the head designer of this vehicle it was a privilege to be apart of the Fast and Furious series. I do hope that the definition of “feature” vehicle has not offended anyone on the board. We were merely excited to be casted in the movie and meant no “topping” of the actual featured vehicles chosen to follow the main characters. We at Ezekiel Designs meant only that we were being featured in the movie and nothing more. Its a big moment for us here, this being our first year professionally in the scene. Hope this clears the air a bit and thank you for the tremendous response’s to the vehicle and we hope you can get a closer look at the car at your local west coast car shows.

Jared Guynes from ricekillers.com is gay. He has an ancient car and is jealous that everybody else has a newer car then his.

Guys lets get off the negativity here. Justin is using different cars for every scene. For example Freesol was used for the cemetery scene but not for the barbeque and latin nightclub scene. Different cars are being used for different scenes. We are trying to get as much different types of cars in there. There are only four featured cars. A sti, mustang, chevelle and a evo. The rest of the cars are just extras.
Lets stop breaking on peoples rides and lets stop spreading false statements on here. We(Universal) are monitoring these boards daily.

Vin is driving a chevelle and a mustang. Paul is driving a STI. Those are the main cars. Everybody else is just an extra.

Sorry Freesol,
But your an extra and thats all. Your telling everyone your a main feature car and that is not true. How do I know? I built the chevelle and mustang that are the main cars. The main cars were built last year, way before you came along and went to a casting call for extras. Your an extra and thats it. Also, you won’t be coming back to the set either. Justin Lin and Valentino are not too happy with you leaking details out to everybody about the movie.

Wow….its amazing how you people can make ridiculous comments like that! Apparently, left to the “professionals” bieng the “Director & producere” who viewed over 1800 cars for the movie, they made the right desision! Its seems that it would take one to know one in this case….Haters will just have to continue to hate on while this solstice roles through the film and credits durring which time the HATERS cars will all be in th parking lots around the globe at the local drive-ins…….

I not a fan of the solstice but congrats to the owner and enjoy the sour opinions of those that jealously hate on you ride….its a form of flattery in it self….

Jen:
Thanks for the blog & will keep you updated on filming. Sounds like allot of envy so far, but also allot of postive feed back, great to have both. One thing I will say, the director & producer were most impressed with this vehicle in person, especially the bandanna graphics.

Yeah i can’t agree on that paint, or the car itself. But it doesnt make it a bad vehicle, but the lancer was way cooler than that.
