One Lap of America: Drags at No Problem Raceway Park

Today the One Lap cars ran at No Problem in Belle Rose, Louisiana. Since the drag racing event in Texas was rained out yesterday, we ran quarter-miles today after the road course runs were completed. The Boxer4Racing STi didn't do as well as we'd hoped—a perfect storm of wide tires, AWD, and a super-grippy track surface combined to bog the car upon launch both times we ran it. Rankins also got a bit screwed over during the road course segment, as a BMW M3 that was running like slow junk refused to let him pass, holding him up and costing our team a lot of positions in the standings. It was a harrowing day, and we've still got an 800-mile drive across the Deep South ahead of us. Next stop: South Carolina.
