CarDomain Blog is #1!

The new site Shop5 got in touch to let us know they've listed us in their Top 5 automotive blogs, and at the time of this post we're in the number-one spot! It looks like our ranking might move around as a result of user ratings, but the kicker is the copy they've written about the various car blogs. While Jalopnik is deemed "a handy blog" where you’d "be hard pressed not to find at least a few interesting... blog entries," and Autoblog is "nicely laid out" with "the standard left-margin fare," the CarDomain Blog is "diverse in content and very reader-friendly," with copy that's "tightly written and edited, and very eye-pleasingly presented." Our "sizable staff" (thanks, guest bloggers!) walks the line between "hilariously irreverent" and "deep technical analysis," and has "a heck of a collective sense of humor." Woo, as John said, it's like passing a test you didn't even know you were taking! While we feel our worthy colleagues at Jalopnik and even those affable robots at Autoblog deserve higher praise than what they got, we're stoked to be considered "an entertaining, yet highly informative resource," and grateful to our awesome readers who've likely been rating us up. Go to Shop5 to check it out for yourself.

No surprise here. I checked the whole web when I joined, looking for the best and/or biggest. That was CarDomain back then, a couple years ago at least.

Well done CD. Congratulations guys for reaching the top spot. I love your bogs, always been a fan since day one. My favourite blog entries would have to be your car show coverages and general automotive talk, and it's great to see some coverage of events or history from home (Australia). Keep up the great effort!
