We're in the final round of voting in the Black Magic Face Off and Steven's Fiero is killing Joe's Camaro. Voting ends June 8, so Joe still has a shot, but with almost 300 votes Steven has a huge lead. The lucky winner gets $1000. Woo hoo!

This latest Face Off battle threatened to turn ugly, but the owners of both the Grand National and the Corvette piped up in comments to shut down the hate. Classy move, guys! Thanks for playing with such obvious sportsmanship. Glenn will take the free set of tires from Discount Tire for his 'Vette, but both of these rides are clearly deserving of the recognition they've earned. Enjoy!

For the last Face Off of the season, we're setting a pair of ultra-burly race cars head to head. Glenn's '66 Corvette has a supercharged 426 big-block and a racing history that stretches back to its new-car days; Damon's '86 Grand National gets 1200 hp out of a built 355 with a custom-made twin-turbo setup, and gets some unbelievable times at the drag strip. Despite the close match between our muscle car-contestants in last week's very heated Face Off, the battle yielded another lop-sided victory, this time for Emilio's Duster! Congratulations, man—you'll get a free set of tires for that tough ride from Discount Tire.

Face Off this week between Dennis's Camaro and Scott's Mustang was rife with nail-biting suspense, as the contenders battled within razor-slim margins right up until the bitter end. When the polls finally closed, the Mustang was ahead by a mere 9 votes, making this the closest Face Off in history. Now if this were the 2000 elections, we might just give the tires to the Camaro, but here at CarDomain we don't roll like that. Good job to both for a fair fight, and congrats to Scott, who will receive a hard-earned set of tires from Discount Tire!

As some predicted, Dan's 442 killed Ryan's GTO in last week's Face Off, getting almost 75% of the vote. I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise that modded beats stock on CarDomain. We'll have another American muscle match-up next week, so stay tuned.

Big old tough-as-nails SUVs are hot, especially when they're used for things other than commuting between the suburbs and the office. This week's Face Off contenders have certainly earned their extreme-wheelin' creds: shimniok's '86 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has been crawling the unforgiving terrain of Colorado and Moab for ten years, but is also set up to be steetable enough to reach far-flung trail heads by highway. Todd's '84 Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser can tackle some equally gnarly California wilderness trails (and streams!), and was even featured in 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine last spring. While the battle between the two Fords was close, Blaze's 1986 Crown Victoria sedan finished solidly ahead with 58% of the votes. Congrats to Blaze, who will receive a $500 gift certificate for the CarDomain Store courtesy of Mobil 1.  A neat twist is that the owners of the two Fords are friends in real life, and Blaze promises some pics in the near future of the cars together—once the victorious Vic is decked out in performance goodies from the store, of course!

This time around, we've got a pair of Reagan-era Blue Ovals going head to head. But wait: these aren't your average grocery getters. Blaze's Crown Victoria has a built-up 5.0L HO, while Mike's Country Squire wagon runs a super-clean crate motor from a '96 Explorer. These tough Fords seem pretty closely matched in terms of power output, and best of all, each of the ride pages has tons of videos of track, strip, and burnouts.  For the winner of this week's Face Off, Mobil 1 is springing for a $500 shopping spree at the CarDomain Store. For this week’s Face Off, we’re bringing back the trucks—this time, it’s a couple of awesome lowered Chevies. Mike’s big-block 1969 C10 has undergone a frame-off restoration and a lot of custom bodywork, and we think it looks pretty sweet in CarDomain orange. Adam’s incredible ’97 Silverado custom convertible, with its flame job and lambo doors, needs to be seen to be believed.
