DoctorNo over at VWVortex scanned in some pages from the April issue of New Model Magazine X, with pics of the new 370Z, along with the Toyota FR and Toyota 4500GTh. He reports that the new 370Z will have different headlights (with LEDs) and will be powered by the VQ37VHR (the 3.7 liter V6 currently used in the Infiniti G37). Nissan is looking at building a four door Infiniti with GT-R running gear. Infiniti dealers have been begging for a halo car, and, well, I'm sure it would be fun to spank the heck out of the M5 and new Porsche Panamera. More at Motor Authority.
When I blogged about the Import Tuner Tribute to the Troops back in September, I didn't realize that the cover car was on CarDomain. Turns out that Nicholas has been a CarDomain member since July of 2006. Nice work getting your G35 on the cover, Nicholas!

Last night, two idiots in Bellevue, WA tried to film themselves drifting, and in the process, made a couple of little mistakes. The first one? They picked a parking lot next to a State Patrol office. As you can probably imagine, the officers who immediately busted them didn't have much appreciation for drifting. But the fun doesn't stop there! It turns out these brainiacs didn't even own the G35 they were thrashing! The car was property of the local Infiniti dealership where the idiots worked, which was so thrilled with their behavior that it fired them. Get more details from the local ABC affiliate.

After hating on domestics for years, Consumer Reports just ranked the Cadillac CTS above the BMW 328i and Mercedes-Benz C300 while testing upscale sports sedans for the March issue. The Caddy placed third overall in the class, just below the Infiniti G35 and Acura TL. And that's not all--Consumer Reports even ranked the new Chevrolet Malibu among the best family sedans, giving the V6 Malibu an 'Excellent' overall score. Whoa! Oh, and D's CTS (below) looks pretty damn sweet with 22s.
Going over the top with appearance mods can be easy to do, but I think Kevin has struck the perfect balance with his G35. I've always liked the look of this model, and I think this is the nicest examples I've seen. Make sure to check out the black and white shots on his ride page—they really do this baby justice.
