By Antonio Alvendia

Hey guys, this is Leigh Roto from the Risky Devil street drifting crew in Chicago. I’m the driver of the light blue JZA70 Toyota Supra Turbo that you may have seen in the photos from All Star Bash Weekend.

Not many people know this, but I work at a BMW shop called WSTO. We bought this BMW 135i back in September and I LOVE it. It’s not the most extreme build, but for a streetable daily driver it hauls balls and I think it looks dope. Continue reading and view more photos at MotorMavens.

This week’s Showroom Showdown got a healthy number of replies, and when the votes were all counted, the G37 had defeated the Bimmer by a 3-to-2 margin. Good looks and a slight edge in horsepower seemed to carry the day for Infiniti.

STI or 135i: Which Would You Choose?

By Rob

Editor-in-Chief

Two of the most anticipated cars for 2008 are the new BMW 135i and the new Subaru Impreza STI. And guess what? They’re both start at around $35k (though you can pile on a lot more pricey options with the
Bimmer). The BMW is RWD, 3,440 pounds and is powered by a twin turbo six which produces 306 hp. And the Subie is AWD, weighs in the neighborhood of 3,400 pounds, and has a turbo boxer four banger which produces 305 hp. So, assuming you had to choose between the base version of each, which would you rather have?
