There’s not a whole lot of detail on Jake’s 1972 Camaro ride page, but… wow. Jake is hoping to be invited to the 2010 Grassroots Motorsports Ultimate Track Car Challenge. Check out his ride page and if you like what you see, rate him up!

Hemmings Find of the Day – 1972 Citroën 2CV

By Dan Strohl

Hemmings

One wonders whether Emmett Kelly was still clowning around when he bought this 1972 Citroën 2CV at the age of 74. If so, interesting. If not, then does his ownership of it make it any more valuable than any other DeuxChevaux? Offered for $12,500 out of Frostproof, Florida. Continue reading at Hemmings

Vintage NASCAR Look 1972 Road Runner on Craigslist

By Brian Lohnes

BangShift.com

When we went for our weekly trip down the dark halls of CraigsList and saw the words Road Runner and NASCAR pop up in a listing, we cringed and clicked the mouse button. We were shocked to find a bitchin’ car that we’d proudly drive the wheels off of.

We were convinced that this thing would be a mess. Some hacked up, mullet-worthy creation that had been sitting behind someone’s house for a decade or so. Instead, this is a nicely done car, signed by Richard Petty, that has a nice drivetrain and all the right stuff to turn heads at any cruise night or car show.

Sure, it’s not for the owner who wants to blend in with the crowd, but hey, what hot rodder on Earth wants to meld into the crowd? Not us, that’s for sure! The price tag is steep, but not totally unreasonable as everything on the car is brand new and this baby is a turn key find.

1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Spyder Conversion

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Yeah, ok, so these cars became something of an 80s cliché with Miami Vice and all, but I still think the Daytona Spyder is one of the hottest cars of all time. And this one is for sale for $329k, which almost seems like a bargain to me. I’d probably swap out the DieHard battery, though… More pics after the jump!

Spotted this Cheyenne 1/2 ton on the way in to work this morning and had to stop and snap some pics. Looks to be a ’72? Is this two tone color combo awesome or what? More pics after the jump!

Baja Bronco

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Jaeson’s ’72 Bronco is one of approximately 650 Baja Broncos produced between 1971 and 1975. These were "limited production duplicates" of the Stroppe team vehicles that were so successful racing the Baja 500 and 1000 in the early 70s. Baja Broncos were painted in the distinctive red, white and blue color scheme, and were extensively modified by the Stroppe shop in Long Beach, California, before being shipped to Ford dealers. Those cool slot mags on Jaeson’s Bronco were just one of the many options available. More at BajaBronco.com.

Ralf just sent me this pic of the new intercooler system he installed in his crazy Supra-powered Lemans. He’s testing it out this weekend–I’m looking forward to hearing how it works out.

I had nothing to do with this. Seriously. Awesome ’72 Dart, though! I dig the hub caps.

Natty Light Camaro

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

It took a while to identify the cans littered across this Camaro, but after consulting my buddies at Moparts, we were able to determine they are cans of Natural Light. Nothing like slamming eight beers before welding in your cage. Check our Mike’s 72 Camaro ride page for more cool pics and some video.

Open Wide!

By John

I’ve taken more than a few pot shots at Buick in this blog, but that doesn’t mean I think the company hasn’t ever built cool stuff. Just check out how slick it looks when the back of this ’72 Estate Wagon opens up. That beats most of the stuff I’ve seen at DUB shows!
