What Did You Do This Weekend?

By Rob Einaudi

I got my Volvo towed. Why? Cause I recently bragged to John and Jen how I had never gotten a parking ticket, and how I had never gotten towed. So I managed to do both at the same time. I came back to my rental garage in my Satellite Friday afternoon and noticed that the wagon was missing. Since no one in the history of the universe has ever stolen a Volvo 240, I was pretty sure it had been towed. Turns out the city clears off 11th Avenue in the U District every weekday between from 4 to 6 PM. I don’t know how I had missed this–the signs are pretty clear. Oh well. Franken M3 Gets Fiske Wheels and Mini Tubs

By Rob Einaudi

The Piper Motorsports guys have recently updated their e30 M3 ride page. This monster is coming along nicely (if you remember our post last October, this car is getting a V10 out of an M5). Latest improvements include mini tubs front and rear and custom Fiske wheels. The photo below shows the new OEM wide fenders which were modified and re-installed with a slight bulge to allow for additional wheel clearance. Apparently the car will soon be ready for the body shop to be seam sealed and primered. Can’t wait to see how this turns out!
