But Edmunds has spent $9,888 in just ten months with their long-term 2002 BMW M3! Jeez… Compare that to the $4,625 they spent in total on their long-term 1983 Ferrari 308. Oh course, they could have gone with factory replacement brakes instead of forking over $3,140 for the Stoptech brakes and install. But still… More details at Edmunds.

Every once in a while I’ll see a photograph on CarDomain that stops me in my tracks. This is one of them. Is the light perfect or what? And I have to say, I really love Mineral Gray Mustangs. Joe has done some nice mods, too, so be sure to check out his ride page.

A couple of idiotic teenagers were attempting to catch some air at an intersection and get some glory on YouTube when they wrecked their 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Authorities said the car did go airborne, but the 16-year-old driver lost control of his car, drove off the road and hit several trees before rolling the vehicle. The driver was ejected and is in critical condition. His 17-year-old female passenger was pulled from the car by friends who witnessed the incident. She was treated at a hospital and released. Police said the driver’s friends were too scared to record the video with their cell phone camera due to high speeds, estimated at 70 to 85 miles-per-hour.

Hmmm, sounds like the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Well, we know CarDomain members would never do anything this stupid for CarDomain video. kstar.com via VWVortex.

Just got me new daily driver/family hauler! A 2002 Subaru Outback. Gotta keep up with the Joneses in Seattle–now I’m gonna see myself coming and going. Took me a surprisingly long time to find a properly maintained, one-owner, low mile car that hadn’t been in a wreck. Seriously, looking for old Mopars is easier. Anyway, I finally found one down in Nor Cal. This is the first time I’ve had a car newer than 15 years old, and the first time I’ve had keyless entry, airbags, and a working AC. Woo hoo! Here’s a video of it being backed off the trailer across the street from CarDomain World Headquarters by Mike of California Missile Racing, who was on his way up to Canada to pick up a new race car.

Back in January Heidi won an Eibach Anti-Roll Kit as part of our 500,000 rides giveaway. At the time of the contest her 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V was in storage, but she finally got it out and spent a solid two weeks working on the car, installing the Eibach kit along with a bunch of other go-fast goodies. She just finished tuning it, and will be taking it to the track this week, so watch her ride page for updates.
