ASI Ferrari 458 Italia? Maybe Not But Cool
By Ben Schaffer
The Real JDM
Although it is not officially from ASI, perhaps this may represent a direction they are considering for a future Ferrari 458 Italia aerodynamics kit? I really like the winglets over the rear fenders in this kit. I’ve been waiting a while for someone to make a well integrated x wing type design into aftermarket aerodynamic tuning.
It’s fun to look at aerodynamic design! The 458 Italia in itself brings heaps of new inspiration courtesy of Pinninfarina so it’s quite fun to start to imagine tuner versions.

ASI F430 Murders For Fun
By Ben Schaffer
The Real JDM
I’ve said too much about ASI. And I know I need to calm down and stop blogging about the company, but how could I not share this amazing F430? ASI is just killing everyone.
If only this car had used one of the three super nice ASI Dry Carbon F430 wings, this car would have put people in the hospital. Get me an ASI street version dry carbon wing and some Amuse B type gold ring titan exhaust tips on here and game over.

Details

The Real JDM
One of my favorite things about well built demo cars is the depth of detail in the design/concept. This is a reoccurring topic that I bring up often on this blog. It comes up often because I really feel that details are what separate good builds from great builds. If you look at the above picture it is easy to be impressed. Sure, a Bentley Continental GT with a Japanese widebody kit and a dry carbon vented race hood is an impressive sight. The car could have been considered a win right there.

ASI will be coming with more aero styling and tuning goodness for the new Ferrari F458 Italia. Whenever it comes out, you know you can trust Bulletproof Automotive and crew will have it for sale (by then perhaps featured on a new website of ours)
Here’s an early concepts from the creative minds at ASI. See one more after the jump!

The Real JDM
I dont need any excuse to put this up. I dont need any story to put this up. I dont even need any words to put this up. Its ASI’s Ferrari F430 studio shots. JDM Ferrari tuning at arguably its finest. Just admire perfection for a moment today.

ASI F430 Project Update: ASI Exhaust
By Ben Schaffer
The Real JDM
This is a project I continue to watch closely as it takes shape. Now ASI has completed their Scuderia type exhaust for the Ferrari F430. Here you can see it with ASI’s incredible rear bumper.
Note the high mount dry carbon GT Wing from ASI as well. This is the most sinister F430 rear end I’ve seen yet. To me nothing beats a top level Japanese tuned Ferrari. Between this and the Garage Saurus Ferrari F550 Maranello (another personal favorite of mine), I think the Japanese do aftermarket tuning the best for Ferrari.

ASI F430 Exists…
By Ben Schaffer
The Real JDM
Here’s an ASI F430 spotting. This is not yet the official introduction, but already the ASI F430 parts are looking really nice! I need a better angle on that rear wing, it looks awkward right now but I know its just the angle of the picture. That rear bumper looks sexy and the front bumper looks surprisingly OEM. More pics after the jump, including a comparison between the ASI bumper and the factory bumper.

ASI Ferrari F430 Project: Two Concepts
By Ben Schaffer
The Real JDM
Someone asked me if the ASI F430 Ferrari is really going to happen. The answer: YES IT IS! I really like the guys over at ASI and they’ve become friends of mine after having our demo cars side by side two years in a row at Toyo’s booth at SEMA. I’m glad (and still a little surprised) to say that we have a mutual respect for each other (gaining their respect seemed like an impossible thing to me since the level of the game they play at is so off the charts). After them pulling me aside at Tokyo Auto Salon and saying that they liked my cars and wanted my input on their future designs, I pretty much didn’t care what happened the rest of TAS…that moment made my trip. I love guys that push the envelope and whether you love or hate their Testsu GTR Bentley, that car embodies creativity, quality, art and function. ASI is slowly starting to become a company I idolize and if they score a huge win with the F430 then they’ve got my heart for good.
