Bolts Driving Me Nuts!

As the former editor of Modified Magazine, writing comes naturally to me. That is, until I was approached by Cartech to author a book on how to rebuild a B-series engine. At first I figured this would be a no brainer–it would just seem like one big long tech article to me. And hey, I finally get to be an author!
But boy is it a lot of work, and my hat is off to everyone out there that has done this before me. Making sure that each step is done accurately and documented correctly is a lot of work, but very rewarding at the same time. And of course as a photographer I naturally want to take top notch photos for the book–which probably annoys my engine builder more than anything.
I wanted to give you readers a sneak peek at a few of those photos, and an idea of what goes on in an engine rebuild for those of you that have never experienced it. Spending time at the machine shop and being able to see all the work up close and personal has been a great learning experience for me. More pics after the jump.
