As if Chris Bangle didn’t do enough to this poor 5er, this M5 got some more "help" from Kerscher and AC Schnitzer. Check out the partially smoked head- and tail-lamps. Max Factor called, I think he wants his eyeliner pen back. More views after the jump.

BMW's Concept Car: GINA

Over the years Chris Bangle, BMW’s head designer, has been raked over the coals for making some pretty funky looking automobiles. But now he might actually be on to something, not only by thinking outside the box, but by thinking outside the box that the original box was delivered in. Say goodbye to rigid fenders, hard plastics and fiberglass, because this could truly be the way of the future.
The concept is amazing–remove all the hard lines and replace with a soft skin that actually flexes with the movement of vehicle. The actual skin will be able to do things that a rigid structure would not be capable of, such a flexing and morphing into different shapes. How cool would it be to change the shape of your car by hitting a button and having the entire internal skeleton move to create different fender lines, bulges or aerodynamic bits? This is something that we’ll all have to keep an eye on. Make sure you watch the video because it is quite impressive. More pics after the jump.
