Flatmobile

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

The Flatombile is the world’s lowest street legal car. Since it’s in England it doesn’t have to worry about being run over and crushed by a Donk. It’s also got jet power, which is extra cool. Be sure to check out the website for build pics and video. Via Jalopnik.

Batmobile on eBay

By John Coyle

Editor

This Batmobile was used in Tim Burton’s 1989 version of Batman, and the seller says it’s five of five made for the film. The dimensions are kind of burly—20′ feet long, 8′ wide—and while the jet engine isn’t functional, the car is equipped with a Chevy 350. Of course, it was never designed to be driven on the road, so there’s no title, and the chances of getting this prop legal seem steep. But if you’ve got half a million dollars sitting around—and have fantasized about being the world’s greatest detective—this could be a fun purchase. Hey, there are probably plenty of groups which would love to have this baby as part of a parade!. Check out the eBay auction for more details.
