The current land speed record stands at 763MPH, but for the team that set it, that’s just not fast enough. Right now, they’re working on a new car, dubbed the Bloodhound SSC, which is being built to  achieve a mind-numbingly quick 1000MPH. That’s literally faster than a speeding bullet! The car won’t be done for another three years, but the BBC has posted a cool video that shows what it’ll look like in action—head over and check it out.
