Those Australians sure do love their burnouts, and the sole purpose of a lot of these roasting competitions these days seems to be to shred the tires until they and the car they’re attached to are literally burning. I personally can’t imagine loving burnouts enough to set my car on fire over them–but hey, it takes all kinds right? This totally isn’t the first time Steve Loader’s blown and methanol-injected monster has burst into flames while roasting the skins, and purportedly the crispy critter turned up on eBay some time after this footage was shot. Watch!

We’ll admit right off the bat that we have beaten down a U-Haul truck or two in our day. We got a V10 powered model high sided on a pile of tires one time. It’s kind of a long story, but let’s just say that the rev limiter on that truck got used really well. The videos in this Bonanza take it to another level. This is pure rental truck violence. BangShift.com does not endorse or encourage this behavior, but since these hoons did it, we may as well enjoy it.

Imagine you innocently enter a sanctioned burnout contest and end up totalling your third-gen Camaro without ever moving an inch. That’s what happened to this guy, and his car suffered the most extreme damage we’ve ever seen from a tire explosion during a burnout. Usually a tire pops and maybe the tread slaps the sheet metal a little, but this thing plowed through the back of the car like a Sherman tank.

Really, you need to see this. It might open the eyes of some burnout contest promoters as to the dangers of people standing so close to the action.

I mean, I’ve probably used the phrase “best burnout ever”  at least a million times since starting at CarDomain, but I can’t think of a single tire-shredding clip that tops the one below.
