1965 C-10 in the Odyssey Booth at SEMA
By Rob Einaudi

I really liked this Chevy pickup built by Street Customs & Restorations of Mooresville, NC. I especially liked the look of the red engine bay on a black truck. More pics and a quick video after the jump!

SEMA 2008: Orange Crush
I really loved this Duramax-powered 1970 C/10 built by Chris Calkins. It was the DHRA Pro Street Champion last year, and consistently runs mid-10s. There’s a full writeup on this awesome truck at Diesel Power Magazine, and I have a bunch more pics after the jump. Too bad the hood was down!

Nick Hogan: In Jail Already
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
After initial drag-assing, the criminal justice system is now doing a swift job on Nick Hogan, who on Friday was sentenced to 8 months in jail for the street-racing wreck that totalled his Supra and put his friend in a coma. The little hulk is already behind bars, his booking shots are making the rounds online, and professional busybodies TMZ have already posted video of his first jail visit by his parents. So do you think he’ll serve anything close to his full sentence, or pull a Paris and whine and bribe his way out?

Realm's Sinister '66 Chevy C-10
By Sean
Editor
Walking past Realm’s booth, I couldn’t help but notice this sick 1966 Chevy C-10. This low-profiled old school is decked out in Sikkens black paint and sports a mean LS-1 by Street & Performance. The motor has been juiced up via a Magnuson Eaton supercharger and mated to a 4L60E tranny, while spent gasses are kicked out via a Borla exhaust system. The rubber hits the road via huge Asanti wheels which tuck in nicely thanks to the QA-1 shocks, and Xciting Lighting provides a modern touch to the classic body. Realm provided the audio for this custom project, filling the interior with their LS6c 6.5" component speakers that are powered by an A300.2 2-channel amp, and a D500.1 mono Class-D amplifier delivers power to the low-end. A pair of Realm’s new thin subwoofers were supposed to be in the truck, but weren’t ready for production in time to make it to the show.

'69 Chevy Wins Face Off!
By Jen
Editor
In last week’s Face Off battle between the two lowered Chevy trucks, Mike’s classic C10 delivered a sound clobbering to Adam’s Silverado. Both trucks are great, but the people have spoken, and the C10 will receive the new set of skins from Discount Tire Co. Congratulations, Mike!
