“Because I Was High”
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
At least the builder wasn’t so high that he neglected to add a second bumper at street-legal height. It’d be a shame if this jacked-up ride wasn’t streetable, because you know it’s going to be great for getting pedestrians out of the way in hurry. Via the “Because I was high” thread on VWVortex. A 4-Door Cadillac That Goes Tens
By Brian Lohnes
BangShift.com
Making big Cadillacs run hard isn’t a new thing, but it never gets old either. This drag video, which we believe was shot at Byron Dragway in Byron, Illinois is awesome. It shows a claimed street race machine from Chi-town on the strip stomping the daylights out of what looks to be a full-race Camaro. We want this car bad!
Sleepers rule, but this thing is beyond sleeper. If you looked at that car and thought 10.20s through the mufflers, you’re way better than us. Our friend Courtney Hines, owner of Cad Company, has built killer Caddy power for decades. In fact, he built the world’s fastest Cadillac, in the Spectre Performance Streamliner, but seeing another one of these beasts plowing down a drag strip still gets us lathered up.
We know what the guy in the Camaro was thinking when he saw the rear doors of the Cad come by, “What the hell?!”

NAIAS: The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Reveal; Old news, but we like it anyway.
By Jim Brennan
UDMan
Before the Cadillac XTS Concept reveal, Cadillac had a kick ass introduction for the CTS-V Coupe. We thought you would like to see it. Welcome to the future of General Motors in which Chevrolet and Cadillac have become the performance divisions. The CTS-V in its current configuration could compete with the Challenger SRT-8, the Mustang Shelby GT-500, or even the Camaro for outright performance. It’s that good! More pics and video after the jump!

NAIAS: The Cadillac XTS Platinum Edition; Livin’ Large Cadillac Style
By Jim Brennan
UDMan
I knew that there was suppose to be a new Cadillac revealed here at the Detroit Auto Show, and I was hoping it wasn’t another crossover. There were hints that the new Caddy will be the replacement for the ancient DTS (which really started as the DeVille), as well as the slow selling STS. Well, it was a real surprise, as this really looks like a competitor to the imports like Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar.

The fastest quarter mile time for a Cadillac CTS-V is held by “The Vette Doctors” with a 10.32 second run at 136.72 mph! Previously owned by the Hennessey CTS-V, will we get to see a grudge match between the two super powers? Only time will tell. Cadillac Drops Two Doors in LA
By John Naderi
StreetFire.net
Much like the impending drop top Camaro we knew it was coming, this, the Coupe version of Cadillac’s comely CTS. And there it sat with little fanfare at the LA Auto Show. Our only hint was an invite-only affair on the eve of the show’s press days that apparently we weren’t invited to (that’s okay, we just cuddled up on the couch with some warm tea and a yummy chick flick – French Kiss, if you must know). Hit the jump for more on the CTS Coupe and less on Meg Ryan.
