Fireball Heads to Vegas for Diecast Coolness
By Fireball Tim
Movie Car Design Master
Last week I was invited by the doods at Diecast Space to the 2010 Diecast Super Convention in super cool Vegas… baby. It was a wicked weekend with friends and diecast car collectors. Plus, we had an induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame. Got to hang with buds, Carson Lev and Chip Foose. (You know Chip, right? He builds cool cars, too.) SEMA 2008: Terracuda
Chip Foose’s "Terracuda" is all golden butterscotchy goodness, and I think it’s quite possibly the most beautiful paint at the show. Foose is everywhere
Chip Foose is everywhere you look here at SEMA. I popped into Lincoln Electric to check out their new Precision TIG 225—the TIG welder for the rest of us—and spotted Foose on Lincoln’s new lightweight full-screen welding hood. I tried it on—it’s lighter than a regular full-screen auto-dimmer, and it’s way lighter than my old glass helmet. It’s also tricked out with the Hemisfear color scheme.
