Legendary designer Chip Foose stops by the CarCast garage for a sit down interview with Adam Carolla and “the Professor” Sandy Ganz. The guys gather some thoughts and basically shoot the Sh!T about Chip’s early days in hot rodding. Chip talks about starting Foose Design, some of the origins of the Gone in 60 Seconds ‘Eleanor’ Mustang and his passion project, the Foose Hemisfear. Fireball Heads to Vegas for Diecast Coolness

By Fireball Tim

Movie Car Design Master

Last week I was invited by the doods at Diecast Space to the 2010 Diecast Super Convention in super cool Vegas… baby. It was a wicked weekend with friends and diecast car collectors. Plus, we had an induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame. Got to hang with buds, Carson Lev and Chip Foose. (You know Chip, right? He builds cool cars, too.) We were in shock at all the diecast coolness everywhere.

It was a big weekend with the likes of Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, Hot Wheels designer extraordinaire Larry Wood, Diecast Audio’s Jeff Glasson and more. I bought WAY more than necessary… as usual. My wife’s gonna kill me. More shots on my blog.

BIG NEWS! Something cool is coming in the next day or so from Fireball Tim. It’s FAST, FURIOUS and you should put it smack dab in your living room! But for now, let’s just say it’s a SECRET. T-Minus….

SEMA 2008: Terracuda

By Jen Dunnaway

Editor

Chip Foose’s "Terracuda" is all golden butterscotchy goodness, and I think it’s quite possibly the most beautiful paint at the show. Chip seems to think so too—during setup on the first day I saw him out there polishing the car himself, just like an ordinary guy. The colors are custom mixed by BASF, Terracuda Brown with California Gold stripes.

Foose is everywhere

By Katherine Helmetag

AKA atomicalex

Chip Foose is everywhere you look here at SEMA. I popped into Lincoln Electric to check out their new Precision TIG 225—the TIG welder for the rest of us—and spotted Foose on Lincoln’s new lightweight full-screen welding hood. I tried it on—it’s lighter than a regular full-screen auto-dimmer, and it’s way lighter than my old glass helmet. It’s also tricked out with the Hemisfear color scheme.
