Mods? Check. Repairs? Naw.
Neuwerks
The old story, gotta make the car look and sound awesome, then fix the issues the car has later. While driving down the freeway recently, I noticed this gem of a Civic. Overall a clean example, however the alignment was so off, that the car was dog tracking quite bad! Don’t get me wrong, I love mods, but I think I would want the car to track correctly (especially with winter coming up) and maybe have a bumper, before I would spend money on new wheels, exhaust, and fresh tint!

It was hard to pick just one photo from from Katie’s 2008 Honda Civic ride page cause they’re all so good!

Overheating Problem: Solved!
Bick66
With its oversized radiator and hand-cut air-intake slot, I’m sure that this Honda Civic is now running nice and cool. But at what cost? The obviously psycho aesthetic touches, like the later-model bumper slapped on with external fasteners and the weird hand-painted dinosaur teeth and lightning-bolt detail around the trim, identify this almost certainly as a tweaker car. See more pics after the jump.

I love the color effects, even if they’re a little psychedelic at times. See more at HONDASSIR’s ride page!

D’oh: U-Haul Loading Fail
By Karan Singh
StreetFire.net
I wonder who convinced these people that this would actually work? I want to know who came up with the idea to use multiple ATV ramps to get this Civic into the U-Haul? Perhaps a better question would be why one would even want to put the car in a U-Haul? Enjoy this moment of stupidity! NSFW yelling.

The Wagonvan
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
This is another one of those cars that’s been popping up all over the place lately. Who would have thought Honda’s awkwardly shaped wagon from the 1980′s could look so tough? This car was actually spotted at the USDM Jam event in Japan.

Garage Fire! Honda Civic Flambé
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
If you are going to modify your fuel system, it’s wise to understand the basics of fuel system modification. There’s nothing “hotter” than a front row seat to your vehicle going up in flames like a Benihana onion volcano. The following clip is intense, but I think it’s good we all understand the magnitude of fuel vapor meeting up with an ignition source; it’s much more shocking than you expect. Message To Left-Lane Lollygaggers
By Jen Dunnaway

If you’ve got a long haul ahead of you, it’s not a bad idea to bandage up your finish with painter’s tape. But before you put the hammer down, an inverse-lettered advisory to those dawdling along in the left lane might help smooth your progress as well. Of course, anyone doing the speed limit in the passing lane is probably too oblivious to check their mirror very often. I wonder if this worked. Via Jalopnik.

Yeah, it’s a bit grainy, but I still thought it was a pretty cool night shot in Tokyo. More pics on Shin-ichi’s Honda Civic ride page!
