My Car That Got Away

With the news that Saudi Arabia is lifting the ban on women driving, this makes even more sense to gripe about. Two Saturdays ago, the Wall Street Journal ran a great piece on "Cars that got away." There was only one thing wrong with it: all the car owners were men, and all the ladies were in the kitchen. As I surf around CarDomain, I find that there are a heck of a lot more car chicks out there than I run into on a daily basis, and I bet every one of you has a great story about a car that got away. Mine is about a yellow VW G60 Corrado that I passed up because I knew my marriage would never survive it. Corrados are the high maintenance girlfriends of the auto world–they $50 and $100 you to death. But no matter about that, I have a good job now!
