Hella Flush Cressida

By Jen Dunnaway

It goes without saying that this wheel and tire setup would be murder on an aged Toyota suspension. But what do you think of the aesthetic? I’m on the fence about the contrast white wheels with the baby-moons–it’s a cool look in a one part foreign diplomat, one part craigslist beater kind of way. I might dig it with a little more sidewall. And how about that gearshift? More below the jump, via Hella Flush.

Cressidas and Levins and Sprinters and Skylines, oh my! I was just clearing out some images on my Mac and transferring them to one of my terabyte drives when I stumbled upon these images I shot at the Japanese Classic Car Show last month. Before I transfer them to the HD archive and forget all about them for another year or so, I thought I’d just share some more pics of these awesome Japanese nostalgic cars! We Dig Northwest Style!

By Antonio Alvendia

I’m still sorting through all the photos I took during my trip to Seattle… believe me, there were A LOT. However, I thought I’d just take a brief detour from the Formula D action to showcase some of the cars I saw at the event, which really clue you in on how dope the Pacific Northwest cars are. I just don’t understand how people can sleep on the scene up there so much! All the big car magazines and media sites seem to only focus on Southern Cali, but those of us who have traveled all over the world can tell you that the Northwest has style!!! Tons of it. Let’s take a look! Continue reading and view more photos on MotorMavens

Serial Nine Cressida

By Speedhunters

Car Culture At Large

Seriously, looking at an MX83 Cressida like this one makes me want to buy a Cressida. I think the test of a car builder is if your car inspires others to want to buy the same car so they can build it up. I don’t know the details of this car, like engine mods or wheel size, etc… but I’ve been thinking about obtaining a manual transmission Cressida for a while now. Man, there are just so many cars I like… way too many. I have problems. However, if I had a bunch of cars that looked like this just sitting around, I think it’s a good problem to have!

Can anybody help us out with some specs on this particular MX83? It looks awesome. The clean body, the paint, the exhaust, the wheels, the stance, the clean fenderwork. Outstanding.
