For Photo of the Day we generally give preference to members’ own photos rather than professional shots, but these images from Barry’s Mustang’s ride page were just too tasty to not share. Check out the rest.

At first I thought this was a photochop. But then I remembered seeing Brad’s Ranger on the site a while back. So why the Excursion?
I have been into minitrucks for the past 10 years, but when the family starts to grow you need more room. This Excursion will be able to go to shows and carry the family, and maybe even still tow my Ford Ranger.

Ford Focus ST at The Paris Motor Show

Rocketboom just posted this video, which shows some nice close-up and interior shots of the 2011 hot Focus. I think the color-matched contrast stitching and seat panels are a little cheesy–maybe this look has been so overdone by the Pep Boys dressup crowd that it can’t not make me think about 20-dollar seat covers–but overall, it’s a tight looking machine. See for yourself!
Goodbye Winter, Hello Car Show Season!
Tcassa
Just as show season is winding down in the northern hemisphere, winter has reached its end here in Australia things and the car show schedule is getting back into full swing. Believe me, it couldn’t come any sooner! This particular show here in Melbourne was small, but the quality of rods and customs on show was sensational. It’s a great indication of what’s to come as car show season revs up, and I always enjoy checking out the smaller local events as you often get to see cars that don’t usually attend the more large-scale shows. Follow the jump for more pics!

Is Ford Doing Everything Right?
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
With the new Focus and Explorer almost here I’d like to pose this question: is Ford doing everything right? Cause right now it seems that they don’t have any holes in their lineup. And while they aren’t gonna beat GM or Nissan to market, their electric strategy seems pretty solid. Lately, when non-car enthusiast friends and family members ask me what new family sedan to buy, I don’t say Camry or Accord, I say Fusion. Also, I’m not a truck guy at all but I still want a Raptor. Oh yeah, Ford also has Vaughn Gittin Jr. drifting their Mustang and that Ken Block guy storming around in a Fiesta. I’m still a Mopar guy and don’t consider myself a Ford fanboy–in fact it’s kind of my job to be critical of big auto companies–but right now I’m coming up with nothing bad to say about Ford. What do you guys think?
Oh, and here’s J Mays answering questions from the Ford Facebook page at the Paris Auto Show. Mustang fans, pay attention:

Hyundai Parking In-Fusion
Neuwerks
These shots were taken by a co-worker during what would normally be a quiet Saturday at the office. The story behind it was, the young driver was involved in a heated text conversation, while parking her car in the open space in the foreground. What doesn’t make sense, is the fact that her car drove over the curb, through a fence, and onto someone’s new Ford Fusion. Thankfully nobody was hurt, and hopefully she puts down her phone next time she parks!
