What Will Adam Carolla Look Like as Host of Gear?

As a huge fan of Top Gear, I’m more than a little worried about the NBC’s—called Gear—version will suck. Since the hosts won’t be able to say anything negative about the cars
they review—ad dollars, remember?—it makes sense that a lot of the fun of
the BBC program will be lost. And doesn’t the truncated title seem like an admission our version won’t be as good as the original? But even though I’m not the biggest fan of Adam Carolla—who’s set to be one of the hosts—I don’t think he looks half bad behind the wheel in this vodcast from SpeedTV. What do you think?
