Check out the Infiniti Essence, which as Autoblog reports, is “powered by a twin-turbo, direct-injection 3.7-liter V6 and a new electric drive design dubbed “3D Motor”, the Essence yields a combined 592 brake horsepower (434 via internal-combustion, 158 brake horsepower via the lithium-ion backed disc-shaped electric motor).

I think this is a pretty great concept car! I felt it was worth of sharing with you all. It feels to me like a morph of a R35 GT-R and an Aston Martin.

For most people, a stock Bugatti Veyron comes with a luxurious interior. But the people who buy Bugatti Veyrons are not most people. In fact, the people who buy Bugatti Veyrons do not even talk to most people. The people who buy Bugatti Veyrons have "people" which talk to "common people." And when the people who buy Bugatti Veyrons deign their "people" to speak—out of necessity of, course—with "common people" at all, they probably instruct them to complain, quite specifically, about the dismal environs of Bugatti’s Veyron. Thankfully, French fashion house Hermes have designed a Bugatti Veyron which should please even the most exacting clientele. And it comes in a different color. And with a different interior. And with center cabs. And it only costs, like, a million dollars more than the supercar does stock. Which means it only costs, like, two million dollars. Thank heavens! At the Geneva Motor Show, you can’t throw a rock without hitting some excruciatingly expensive exotic, so if you go, don’t throw rocks. Right now, our buddies from Road & Track are across the pond covering it, and from the looks of these photos, they’re having a blast. They sent us sick shots of all the hottest stuff on the floor—like the KTM X-Bow Dallara Edition pictured below—and they’re making editorial wish we weren’t stuck at CarDomain World Headquarters. There were lots of cool rides at the Geneva Motor Show that we aren’t gonna get in the States. We don’t get the Scirocco. We don’t get the Euro Accord wagon. We don’t get the Fiat 500 Abarth below. We don’t get the SEAT Bocanegra. Fine. Whatever. We didn’t want them anyway. And hey Europe–no Challenger for you.

In keeping with its decision on the Scirocco, Volkswagen is keeping all its coolest Geneva Motor Show concepts on its own side of the pond. The same will be true of the SEAT Bocanegra, because SEAT is VW’s subsidiary in Spain. Known for producing cheap versions of VW’s for its own domestic market, SEAT will be replacing its humdrum Ibiza with the mean-looking Bocanegra ("black mouth"), which will be available in both gas- and diesel-powered drivetrains with the option of paddle shifters. Saab seems to make a habit of cooking up some real wowie-zowie concept cars, but it’s quite the feat to win Best Concept Car at the Geneva Motor Show for a display vehicle that reportedly showed up without its motor. I guess that’s why they call it a concept. The theoretical powerplant the award-winning 9-X BioHybrid would have been running was a solar-battery hybrid system mated to a 200hp, 1.4L ethanol-powered engine. But the one WorldCarFans spotted had no motor, and had to be pushed into its booth, making it a truly zero-emissions vehicle. Congrats, Saab!
