This latest Face Off battle threatened to turn ugly, but the owners of both the Grand National and the Corvette piped up in comments to shut down the hate. Classy move, guys! For the last Face Off of the season, we’re setting a pair of ultra-burly race cars head to head. Glenn’s ’66 Corvette has a supercharged 426 big-block and a racing history that stretches back to its new-car days; Damon’s ’86 Grand National gets 1200 hp out of a built 355 with a custom-made twin-turbo setup, and gets some unbelievable times at the drag strip. Damon is a Raider fan from Georgia who owns what appears to be the quickest Grand National on CarDomain. The car is powered by a twin turbo Chevy small block which puts out an estimated 1,600 hp.
