Hemmings Find of the Day: Wagoneeeeeeeer
By Dan Strohl

What we love about this 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is not that it’s stretched by several feet, nor that it’s actually a functioning limousine, it’s that it was done rather tastefully (we’ll grant the directional billet wheels): It looks like if AMC, in its last throes as a functioning company, built one of their junior executives an awesome bachelor party rig. Back in Time Classics of Commerge, Georgia, which is selling the Wagoneeeeeeeer for $24,900. Continue reading at Hemmings

Is The Jeep Grand Wagoneer A Classic?
By Rob
Editor-in-Chief
I keep expecting these old Jeeps to take off in value, but it seems like you can still pick up nice ones for cheap. Bradford’s Grand Wagoneer (below) has one my favorite color combos–white with the woodgrain. I also really dig the old two door Cherokees like Bryan’s. And Phil’s Cherokee is gorgeous. So are these classic American SUVs going up in value? This guy seems to think so.

Face Off: Grand Wag Dominates
By Jen

In last week’s Face Off, shimniok’s Grand Wagoneer delivered a sound clobbering to Todd’s Land Cruiser, making off with a whopping 81% of the votes. It looks like Discount Tire will be shipping out some mighty big tires for the beast known as "Troubled Child." Congrats, shimniok!

Face Off: Cold-War Crawlers
By Jen
Editor
Big old tough-as-nails SUVs are hot, especially when they’re used for things other than commuting between the suburbs and the office. This week’s Face Off contenders have certainly earned their extreme-wheelin’ creds: shimniok’s ’86 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has been crawling the unforgiving terrain of Colorado and Moab for ten years, but is also set up to be steetable enough to reach far-flung trail heads by highway. Todd’s ’84 Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser can tackle some equally gnarly California wilderness trails (and streams!), and was even featured in 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine last spring. However, only one of these burly beasts can win a new set of skins from Discount Tire Co. Cast your vote now for your favorite!
