I haven’t worked a full week in over a month, and the grind is already started to wear on me. Well, at least I got a flat on the way in to the office. Here’s the news:

Hot Wheels Twin Mill!

Having made its debut at the show in 2001, the Hot Wheels Twin Mill is a SEMA veteran, and it’s easy to see why attendees have demanded repeat appearances. It’s got not one but two supercharged GM 502 big blocks and four Edelbrock 4-barrel carbs. Though the Twin Mill is a life-sized replica of a toy, it’s also a fully operational race car: one that puts out a total of 1400 horsepower!

Hot Wheels 40th Anniversary

Hot Wheels is celebrating their 40th anniversary in a big way at SEMA, unveiling a bunch of new models. The HW-40 below is one of their own designs, but designers from Dodge came up with the XP-07 and Mitsubishi created the Double Shotz.

Hot Wheels is celebrating their 40th anniversary at SEMA by introducing the Hot Wheels Design Award, which will be awarded to four customized vehicles that embody the essence of the Hot Wheels brand. In addition there will be life-size Hot Wheels vehicles, various brand artifacts, memorabilia and collectibles placed throughout the hall.
