Import Tuner magazine and Tein have joined forces to build the fourth Lexus IS F for SEMA. They’ve decided to focus less on the drivetrain and more on chassis and suspension mods, and lightening the car up. This isn’t just a show car, either. After SEMA, this IS F will compete in the Street Class of the Super Lap Battle time attack finals at Buttonwillow Raceway. When I blogged about the Import Tuner Tribute to the Troops back in September, I didn’t realize that the cover car was on CarDomain. Turns out that Nicholas has been a CarDomain member since July of 2006. Nice work getting your G35 on the cover, Nicholas!

The latest issue of Import Tuner arrived on my desk today with a big photo of Jessica Burciaga standing in front of an Infiniti G35 Coupe splashed with the stars and stripes. Inside they have a story called Operation Daily Driver, where they feature a bunch of soldiers and their cars. A bunch of these guys are stationed in Japan, so there are several Skylines and other nice JDM rides in the mix.
