Ken Block Falls on Hard Times. Forced to Sell Infamous Gymkhana STI
By John Naderi
StreetFire.net
We found this thread on VW Vortex. Maybe Ken Block has not sufficiently wowed his new Ford partners enough as of yet. Perhaps the economic downturn has slowed the sale of DC Shoes and flat-brimmed hats. Maybe his upcoming gymkhana event series couldn’t find funding (uh, what we mean is, what gymkhana event series?).

Maybe this Craig’s List post is a joke. Maybe it was all just a dream. And maybe, just maybe, this seller is serious. Maybe he – yes, he, because there is no way a woman would do this to her car – is on drugs. Perhaps he’s on some medical grade nitrous, or meth, or maybe even something that we don’t know about. Maybe something that would require an ice cube up the butt. But then, Coyle is only one who would know anything about that.
All we have to say is that to be truly ironic this seller should have applied KB’s Subaru livery to a Ford Escort wagon. Get it? On second thought, it doesn’t get much more hi-lar-ious than the green underglow and hidden trailer hitch. That is, unless you were to release a remix of the original Gymkhana video, with machine guns and Sid and Marty Kroft explosive effects. Yes, that would rock us like a hurricane. Subaru Impreza Used for Human Drifting
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
Being pulled behind a Subaru Impreza after a fresh snowfall by hanging on to the wing as it drifts a curvy forest road is insane. A video produced by fellow Subaru enthusiasts in Slovenija, Pokljuka shows the world just how crazy we can get. Rock on! Read more about the human drifting event at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

Subaru Impreza Tows Semi Out of Snow
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
A Subaru Impreza can be used for many things, and now there’s a new form of Subie fun! This owner made good use of Subaru’s symmetrical all-wheel drive by towing a stuck semi with trailer out of the snow with an Impreza WRX STi. Read more about the Subaru tow at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

Impreza on GTR's
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
I’ve always loved seeing OEM wheels on cars they didn’t come on – especially on cars from another manufacturer. When it comes to OEM wheel swaps, nothing is more popular than stock Skyline GT-R rollers, which offer forged construction, aggressive sizes, and good design. In this case we see a set of R34 GT-R factory wheels (18×9 +30) mounted on a GDB Subaru Impreza sedan.
There was actually a replica of the R34 wheels made called the Grenade GX01, but these appear to be the real thing.

Impreza and Corvette Bumper Cars
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
An Impreza and Corvette dual it out on the track bumper car style! Once the Subaru gains the lead, the Corvette plays a dirty trick and spins the vehicle out. Then, out of either retaliation or a terrible blind spot the Impreza upon re-entering the track slams into the Corvette. Awesome! The fun starts around four minutes in the video below.
Should this type of chaos be allowed on the track? It is hard to tell whether there were any penalties involved from the video below. Who do you think started this mess? Is it the Corvette’s fault for bumping the pre=”the “>Impreza in the corner? Or did the Impreza cut the Corvette off leaving the driver no option but to bump? It’s really hard to tell exactly what happened. By watching the footage, you can clearly see the drivers are in a heated battle. Read more commentary about this bumper car mess at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

VW Bug x EJ20 x BBS LMs = WIN
By Ben Schaffer
The Real JDM
In our quest to feature things that inspire us to think outside of the box, I must thank fellow car nut Alex Butti for the lead on this story! Inspiration of the day is a 1972 VW Bug with a Impreza STi motor swap, Porsche OEM Brembo brakes and BBS LM wheels.

Hardcore Impreza

Car Culture At Large
I wasn’t sure which side I wanted to show guys, the front or the back. I ended up choosing the front because the visual impact was greater. This thing has to be one of the hottest looking Impreza’s out there. It is rocking wheels that measure 18″x10 +1 on the rear and 18″x10 +5 in the front. For more amazing pictures of this car you can log onto the owners thread on NASIOC. First spotted on Hellaflush
