Just saw this video from Simply Clean, a bunch of petrolheads from Florida. I loved some of the editing and the song, cool stuff.

Flaming Lambo

Car Culture At Large
There’s just something about cars with flames coming out of their exhausts. This one has been prepared by Fluid MotorUnion. They have constructed a complete custom stainless exhaust for this application.

Blue KGC110

Car Culture At Large
Just found this picture of a not so standard looking KGC110 GT-R. It appears to have a side exit exhaust that could hint at something special under the bonnet. Other cool parts include the spoiler and Watanabe’s with semi slick tires wrapped around them. I also like the fact that the owner has painted the arch extensions the same color as the body of the car. Normally you would see them in black, but this just shows that it can look cool when painted. Via Al’s Car Stuff Blog

Las Vegas xB

Car Culture At Large
Just saw some cool shots of this Scion xB on wheresneek. It belongs to one of the members at bB Squad. Taking photos is one thing but finding a cool location to shoot them is a whole different ball game. It all depends on where you live I guess.

Yaris on Twenties
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
Natural progression or a fluke? You can’t open a ‘pic of the day thread’ on a random forum without getting confronted with cars that have a killer stance. Normally you would see cars like a Impreza or Evo and of course the S-chassis cars. But we can’t forget the little guys, like this Toyota Yaris or Vitz as it is known in other countries.
This particular car has its roots in Indonesia and is rolling round town on a set of 20″ Weds Kranze Bazreia wheels. There isn’t a lot of info about the car itself but I did spot a few items that aren’t standard. Continue reading at Speedhunters

Street Spec S15

Car Culture At Large
This is something you don’t see every day, a full C-West bodykit on a street driven S15. I really love the color of this car, it doesn’t shout but it does grabs your attention. There is one thing, I couldn’t identify the wheels, they look like Gram Lights T57. Spotted on Lord Bas Flickr

The Drift Rod
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
Everybody knows that drifting is not all about going sideways, there is also a element of being different. Remember the Samurai drifter? Or Paul Vlasblom and his BMW touring. But when I got an email with this picture attached, I didn’t realized at first this was a drift car. So it certainly is different but can it drift? .
The base car is 1940 Chevy Coupe, the owner Karl Ebel bought it 10 years ago. The plan was to build it as a traditional hot rod but after Karl became more involved in Motorsport wiht his compnay Creative Carversions, the car evolved into this Drift Rod. The main body is still original but the front and rear fenders, hood and trunk have been made from a composite material.
The engine is a built 327 (estimated 400hp) with all the usual go fast goodies and it transfers the power via a Getrag 262 gearbox. The exhaust fumes exit through 3″ Magnaflow mufflers just behind the front wheels. They use a custom independent front and rear suspension which is still being improved. So now it is time to see this beast in action, can’t wait for some moving shots or maybe a video.

Honda HSV-10 GT
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
Honda just released this picture of their 2010 SuperGT entry. The Honda HSV-10 GT will replace the Honda NSX and is powered by a 3.4 liter V8 with more than 500bhp. It will debut at the SuperGT opener on the 20th of March, but I’m sure there will be more info released by Honda before that. This shot already looks promising, and I’m just glad Honda continues their efforts in the SuperGT Series. Man, how hardcore does this car look…

Revolution All Carbon FD
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
Should I even add words? This amazing all carbon Revolution FD has been seen doing some laps at the recent RE-Wars round 4 at Tsukuba. I can’t wait for Dino’s coverage of the Super Lap Battle at the same circuit. Will this FD take the crown or will some of the other contenders like the Mspeed R34 (my favorite) be faster?
